A roar went up from the crowd as the last piece of gamma-green steel was bolted into place. The track of one of America’s most beloved—and ferocious—coasters was ready to go.

This momentous occasion wasn’t without some ceremony, of course. The engineering crew all signed the final piece before it was raised. The silver ink stood out against the bright green paint, a testament to the tireless hours they’ve worked to get us to this point.

The final piece of ride track is put into place for The Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universal Orlando Resort

This was the next major milestone on the path back to bringing The Incredible Hulk Coaster back to life. We’ll keep bringing you more moments like these along the way as it gets closer to reopening this summer.

In the meantime, check out the video below and take a roller coaster crane ride!

Is there a open date or soft opening date yet?

We need the ride to be opened by the 18th of May so my family can once again have the best experience for our 9th Wedding anniversary celebration.
We need the Big Green Machine running.
    Fingers Crossed.

We’ve got our 5th year anniversary trip planned for Orlando next month and already purchased our 3 day Universal Tickets. The Hulk was a big reason we want to go to Universal. If it’s not going to be up and running by May 18/19/20, I’ll have to see about getting a ticket refund. We’ll spend those extra days at Disney, or maybe drive to Tampa and check out Busch Gardens.

The hulk isn’t even a great coaster. If that’s a big reason you were going you should just save a bunch of cash and go to six flags.
