Hear the Sounds and Soul of NOLA in ORL
The “big” stage at Universal’s Mardi Gras hosts some pretty big names. But walk around the corner to the French Quarter Courtyard, and you’ll find the lively sounds of New Orleans washing over the crowd.
It’s here that bands from all over the South bring that unique blend of jazz, blues and rock that has made the New Orleans music scene world famous.
One of the bands I got the opportunity to talk to is Mississippi Rail Company. Performing at Mardi Gras for their third year, these guys weave roots-driven favorites with original songs that you’ll swear you’ve heard before. And they flat out rock.
Check ’em out below and don’t miss your chance for a night of music, beads and good times at Mardi Gras.
