Sigh. I thought this year with difficulty getting guests in, it would be better than last, but it’s even less perks.

Please, please bring back the BOGO dining plan.

For me; a preferred AP coming in from out of town staying in-site, there is absolutely no benefit to coming during this time.

Hi Leann! This year’s Passholders Appreciation Days will focus on the exclusive perks and discounts Passholders can enjoy from August 10 – September 30, and there will not be a nighttime event this year. Stay tuned to the Passholder website for details and updates.

I am very unhappy that as we are premier holders we lost our HHN ticket with no discount to our pass or refund also park hours having premier is a joke only 1-2 hours that we can use express pass is ridiculous. I hope someone does something worth while for premier holders. Now your offering for $164 the rest of the year free that’s an insult to us who pay $500+ per person for the year

I think that what universal has to do is give us more hours to use the express !!!
it is unfair to have paid for a premier pass and have only one to use the express !!!

Really? This is showing the love?
Did I miss something in this email because all I saw was a lot of talk about how important Passholders were, but the only Perks being:
-dedicated entrances (which aren’t that big of a deal…and isn’t this already a thing?)
-exclusive food items (hey, you already paid all this money to be a Passholder, here pay more money for these exclusive food items as well)
-buttons and magnets (something that’s actually a free perk!…while supplies last)
-early Park admission (more widespread than the usual perk, so cool)
-exclusive resort rates (hey, you already paid all this money to be a Passholder and for the exclusive food (and merch), why not pay even more to stay on property…sorry Florida residents)

Nothing about how the Parks are now operating even fewer hours so more perks are lost. Or about how that Halloween Horror Nights ticket was probably a big draw for Premier Passholders, but we’re not going to do anything to make up for that loss. Or about how any Florida resident can now pay less than $200 and have virtually unlimited access to both Parks and Volcano Bay until December 24th.

These don’t really seem like perks. They seem like promotional discounts your giving just to make it seem like passholders are getting great benefits. To be honest I’ve had my annual pass for over a decade and have seen the perks diminish each year. Honestly I’m questioning whether the annual pass is worth it anymore especially since I only go to Halloween horror nights and the park during October in recent years. I definitely don’t feel special anymore being a preferred passholder

  • Reply Brian C August 3, 2020 at 6:38 pm

Sad. Bad customer experiences throughout the park the other day. People at the gates seemed annoyed they had to stop their conversations to check us in. 2 attendant’s leaning against the wall by the lockers just watching people try and find lockers.
No direction like usual. No HHN, eventhough our pass gave us a free admission. Attitude from staff when asking about HHN.
We’ve had annual passes on and off since opening. Just sad.
Your photo people must also be.on commission the way they treat your guests. Sloppy.

Hi Brian, thank you so much for this candid feedback. We have made the difficult decision to cancel Halloween Horror Nights this year so we can focus exclusively on operating our theme parks for daytime guests, using the enhanced health and safety procedures already in place. Because Halloween Horror Nights will not occur this year, all benefits and offers associated with the event, including the free admission entitlement for Premier Passholders, will not be available, but we are constantly evaluating our offerings during this time, and we will communicate any benefit updates via email, so please make sure your email address is up-to-date so we can share updates with you. So….premier passholders lost HHN, valet, and express after 4 significantly shortened. Why did me and my husband pay $500 each and then sadly, convince our 4 friends to get these passes as well using all these perks as a selling point? Over 3k on my party alone, only to have less and less benefits.

And then on top of that, you now offer a $165 benefit for the remainder of the year. This is incredibly insulting. I don’t want a secret menu item or a pin, I want the benefits I thought I was paying for. This sounds like a borderline class action lawsuit.

I’m curious. The new Florida resident ticket deal allows you to purchase a one day, 2 park ticket for $164, and you can add Volcano bay for an additional $29. With this deal you get unlimited park access until Dec 24th. My question is can I add the volcano bay $29 upgrade to my current premier 2 park pass? Or do I still have to pay $99 to upgrade?

    • Social Media Team
Reply Social Media Team August 4, 2020 at 10:41 am

Hi Greg, this ticket offer does not include parking, early park admission, or other Annual Pass benefits, and is valid only until December 24th. If you wish to upgrade your 2-park annual pass to a 3-park pass you would need to pay the difference in price. Feel free to reach out to our Guest Services team at 407-224-4233 option 4 or by email at GuestServices@universalorlando.com if you have additional questions!

  • Reply James August 4, 2020 at 12:09 pm

UOR should at the very least extend the Express Pass benefit to be available all day for Premier Passholders. That should offset some of the loss of HHN tickets for us without costing the parks anything. As a long time Passholder I’m extremely disappointed with the “perks” on my Premier pass for Universal now! We will downgrade when they come up for renewal in a few months. Less money and same “perks”.

Have you considered allowing Passholders that are unhappy with the continued lack of Perks and support to cancel their annual passes free of charge/receive a refund if they have already paid in full? It’s an offer Disney is currently giving their Passholders.
It probably would make it more likely for those disgruntled with the lack of Perks you are currently offering to come back o Universal when life has returned to normal…instead of continuing to hold onto their money/take their money for an extremely watered down and unappetizing version of what they paid for…which will likely lead to many saying goodbye to their UOAPs.
Another option would be to just renew all annual passes through the end of 2021 that way the lost Perks and value would still be there (and you would appease all the Premiers that lost the HHN ticket)

      Hi Tracy,
Thank you for you your feedback. Universal Orlando Annual and Seasonal Passholders are our most loyal fans, and they have the opportunity to enjoy theme park access for an entire year. Our passes are also loaded with exclusive benefits and perks, including discounts at shopping and dining locations across the destination, free or discounted parking, discounted hotel rooms, access to a dedicated UOAP Lounge and much more. We also celebrate our Passholders with additional special offerings throughout the year – including our Passholder Appreciation Days, running from for August 10 through September 30 – and we’re constantly rolling out special offers on our annual and seasonal passes year round.

  • Reply Melissa August 5, 2020 at 9:47 am

Honestly, we should be thankful that Universal isn’t closing it’s doors for good. With everything going on in the world due to COVID, I believe they are doing their best. Even when you calculate the Premier- $60 a month for all 3 Parks which is what I have, that’s $300 for the rest of the year- but we still have free parking and discounts on food and merch. If you calculate the $164 for FL residents and $29 for Volcano Bay- that is $193 but doesn’t include Free Parking or discounts- so honestly it evens out. Universal is still a business and they have to make $ to maintain the Parks and stay open. I get it’s frustrating, but UOAP’s we need to be thankful we still are able to enjoy the parks during these uncertain times. However, I do agree with the Express, since the park is on limited hours- Universal should extend out our Express Pass time to use for UOAP’s. And while it is disappointing about HHN, let’s be honest- you can’t really have the same experience due to COVID and maintaining 6 ft- it just wouldn’t be the same. Hopefully Universal will offer some exclusives for UOAP’s for next year for HHN like adding an extra day free instead of one day- we get 2 😉 Just and idea!

safe during my last visit and that is not an easy thing to do during these times. I will be hopeful that the benefits

I agree with the many comments. As a premier pass holder, we lost most of the perks we paid for. We paid for extra perks not less. 2 hours of express pass is laughable, extend it for the whole day, that would at least kind of make up for no HHN and valet. What are we paying for? discount for food and merchandise? Come on wake up and take care of your pass holders. We do appreciate the extremes you are doing to keep us safe.
