Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration is running select nights at Universal Studios Florida and is a great way to end your day at our parks.

You’ll see all the best moments of your day come to life in the middle of the lagoon on massive water screens. Scenes from Illumination’s Despicable Me, Jurassic World, Harry Potter, The Secret Life of Pets and so much more come together to create an epic celebration of some of your favorite characters. And it’s all accented by projection mapping, pyrotechnics, lasers, dancing fountains and more.

As you can imagine, creating a nighttime lagoon show is no small feat! To learn more about the creative process and vision for the show, we chatted with Mike Aiello, Senior Director for Entertainment Creative Development. Check out the video below to see how he and his team brought Cinematic Celebration to life.

I love the show but in it’s context How To Train Your Dragon doesn’t fit. I hope that movie will get a big presents in the park one day.
