North Carolina Class Wins EPIC Educational Trip to Universal Orlando Resort
New educational program brings students inside Universal.
Earlier this year, Universal Orlando Resort announced the launch of the Business Learning Series. This groundbreaking experiential education program takes students inside our theme parks to learn the basics of business .
To celebrate the launch, we partnered with CNBC’s The Profit to give a class the chance to win the trip of a lifetime to experience the new program. Ms. Morrow’s marketing class from Chase High School in North Carolina was the lucky class who won the prize.
Ms. Morrow’s students participated in the Business Learning Series, which included identifying real-life examples of specific business principles across Universal Orlando’s two theme parks and creating visual digital presentations to share what they learned. And, of course, they had some free time to enjoy the parks too!
The Business Learning Series offers hands-on, collaborative in-park components that truly make this program stand out. It’s based on the business principles of entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis, host of The Profit. The class focuses on career selection and preparation, leadership skills, and personal and business development. The in-park component adds a level of engagement that reinforces the learning that takes place within the program.
From the groundbreaking attractions to the award-winning restaurants, our destination is the perfect classroom for learning essential business skills.
