7 Outfits That Will Make You Rethink What to Wear to Grad Bash
Grad Bash is the annual High School Senior celebration at Universal Orlando Resort. But you already know that if your school was awesome enough to sign up. For years, #GRADBASH has been flooded with pictures of fashion. Everyone knows that a certain level of planning has to go into what you’re going to wear with school and event dress codes being enforced all night.
This year, allow us to be your muse…and by us, I mean our parks, characters, and all of the beautiful color schemes that they inspire.
1. Be Your Own Universe
Why just admire the globe when you can be the globe? Shine bright like the icon that you are.
Dress Code Tip: Casual shorts, khakis, and jeans are allowed, but undergarments cannot be visible. Nice board shorts with a drawstring ensure the perfect fit.
2. Complete Mayhem
The only thing this look is missing is some sweet Minion-inspired dance moves, front row, at the Grad Bash Concert. Ok, maybe that’s too far.
Dress Code Tip: Shirts that expose your midriff are prohibited. You can still achieve the tied t-shirt look if you simply spring for a nice oversized tee.
3. Let’s Get Jurassic
Your outfit should be composed even if you aren’t (Because you’re facing raptors).
Dress Code Tip: Bags larger than 8.5 x 5.5 are prohibited. A nice, small crossbody bag is the perfect place to store essentials.
4. Rock It
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is known for its steep drops and musical tunes. Why not rock the same electrifying colors?
Dress Code Tip: Tank tops and undershirts are prohibited. However, board shorts and a graphic t-shirt still keep your look casual.
5. The Perfect Fairytale
Shrek isn’t the only one who can pull off green. Pull inspiration from the whole cast of Shrek 4-D.
Dress Code Tip: If you wear a dress, ensure that the strap width is within your school’s required width guidelines.
6. King of the Park
We channeled the dark and mysterious vibes of Skull Island: Reign of Kong for these looks.
Dress Code Tip: A fanny pack is another bag option that fits within the dress code.
7. Lost in Your Aesthetic
Lost Continent is a mythologically-themed land in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. The tiles, merchant shops, and natural rock backdrops are a bohemian dream. Linens and flowy fabrics will make you feel like a total goddess.
Dress Code Tip: Maxi dresses are both in style and guaranteed to be the appropriate length required by your school.
All of the looks featured in this blog can be found at Billabong’s Quiet Flight Surf Shop in Universal CityWalk. Don’t forget to review the official Grad Bash Dress Code and your school’s dress code before you start shopping.
