Tuskegee Airmen Share Their Stories With Universal Orlando Team Members

May 20, 2016

This has been a moving week at Universal Orlando Resort, with a series of events held for our veterans team members. First was our annual Military Appreciation Day this past Wednesday.Military Appreciation DayAll day, veterans and family members of veterans were able to meet with government and private organizations about benefits, medical needs, and take in some military history.Military Appreciation DayOn Friday, our Veterans Network and African American Network hosted the Tuskegee Airmen from the Florida General Daniel “Chappie” James, Jr. Chapter.

Tuskegee AirmenThese heroes of World War II shared the stories of their challenges and triumphs to a full house of team members. They reminded us all of the courage and bravery of those that have served. It’s those moments in history that remind us all of the sacrifice so many have made for our country.

On behalf of all the teams that helped bring these events to life, we would like to thank all the men and women that have served and are serving around the world.Military Appreciation DayEvery year, it’s a joy and privilege for our teams to honor you for all your service, dedication and sacrifice. Our military Team Members play various roles across our resort every day and we couldn’t be more proud.

If you’re visiting in November, come celebrate the red, white and blue with us during our annual Veterans Day Parade in Universal Studios Florida.
