Reflecting on an Incredible Evening on the Red Carpet

After months of planning, long days (and longer nights), and countless production meetings, it’s a wrap.
The movies stars are gone, the lights are packed away, the webcast feed is silent (until
tomorrow later today), and the red carpet is rolled up, waiting for its next celebration.
This evening we had the privilege and the pleasure of hosting some of the world’s most creative talents and most beloved film stars: members of the cast of the Harry Potter films. And for the first time since the movies wrapped, they walked the streets of Diagon Alley together, but this time here at Universal Orlando Resort.
Because of J.K. Rowling, we got to discover places like the Leaky Cauldron, Knockturn Alley and Gringotts bank. Because of talented performers like Helena Bonham Carter, we got to see Bellatrix Lestrange. And because of the teams at Universal Creative and Warner Bros., we get to actually live it.
But without you, the fans, none of this ever would have been brought to life. It was your love and embrace of this truly magical world that has turned it into a global phenomenon that desperately yearned to become real.
You, too, will soon get to walk these fabled cobbled streets.
So, in this dark, quiet hour—where the only stars left awake are the ancient ones—let’s take a look back at this incredible evening.
